Who is Groga?

Groga is the ever growing market segment that embraces environmentally friendly products and healthy lifestyle choices. The emergence of this affluent, status conscious populace posses a Yoga influenced mindset——balanced, healthy living. Life is hectic. Life is stressful. Your target market wants simplification and convenience, but will not sacrifice quality. They also want to be healthy. They want, nay, they demand services and products in their lives that will help them live longer, healthier and what they perceive will make them happier. This market segment responds to time-saving, stress-reducing services and products. They have a strong desire to reconnect with nature and family.

Market studies reporting healthy lifestyle choices as a major concern or desire have been around for years. Hence the evolution of must-have amenities such as: spas, fitness centers, walking trails, etc. A word of advice: in yoga, you can’t fake good form, with your green offering you can’t fake it either. This affluent market is very savvy. They will not be fooled by lip service.

Do I think ‘Groga’ will become the new buzz word for the quest for a healthy life? Not so much. ‘Green’ is comfortably entrenched in our every day vernacular. Get used to it, it isn’t going away.
