Maximum PR Director Shares Marketing Advice in Builder Architect Magazine

Turn to the January edition of Builder/Architect magazine and you’ll notice that Susan Johnson, Maximum’s PR Director, was spotlighted in the nationally distributed feature article Winning Techniques for a Challenging Market (by Laura Glass and Mark Ward).  Susan was asked to share ideas for best marketing practices along with several other national real estate marketing experts.

When asked about the nervous and sporadic market, Susan indicated that all the negative press has scared potential buyers, so we have to give good reasons for them to buy.  Standing out from competition is just one of the hurdles to overcome.  One of the creative marketing approaches that she shared was Maximum’s partnering with a local restaurant in a successful bid to get a client noticed.  “We produced an event where a special beverage was created and named after the property,“ she explained.  “The restaurant agreed to have it on their menu, so that every time someone came in, they saw the name of the community and the bartender talked it up.  In exchange, we highlighted the restaurant and the drink on the project website.“
