Plantation Building Corp. headed by David Spetrino, has received a project of the year award from Multifamily Executive magazine for its New YOrk Hatters mixed-use project in downtown Wilmington. 

New York Hatters was one of only two projects honored in the magazine’s low-rise category.

The approximately 240 submissions were evaluated on demonstrated innovation in architecture, floor plan efficiency, suitability to target market, creative use of materials, interior design, landscaping, creative financing, and the ability to work with government and community officials, the magazine said.
