Wilmington, NC—Maximum Design & Advertising, Inc., a Wilmington-based destination lifestyle marketing agency, shared their marketing expertise in two different forums at the 2008 MSI Amenities Communities Marketing Summit in Jacksonville, Florida on Oct 5th – 7th.
Amy Tharrington, president and principal of Maximum, conducted the workshop “Marketing Triage: Your Best Hope For Recovery?”, which examined the most common marketing ailments facing the industry today and discussed specific techniques builders / developers could use to quickly evaluate the health of their own marketing plans and what can be done to make a difference in today’s economy.
Susan Johnson, public relations director, spoke on an environmental marketing topic in a session entitled “Drowning in Green—How to Stand Out as the ‘Real Deal’ in a Sea of Eco-Friendly Marketing.“ The workshop explored the the advantages and pitfalls of a green marketing strategy in today’s marketplace and evaluated a variety of approaches builders / developers can take to get their green efforts the attention they deserve.
THE SUMMIT, sponsored by the Marketing & Sales Institute (MSI), is a national conference for developers and marketers of master planned communities. Real estate executives and marketing pros gathered in October for two days of creative idea sharing, including workshops from marketing experts and cutting edge technology specialists.
